Rev. Margaret Bomar was born and reared in a small Kentucky town where her father was pastor of a local church. Born again at age ten and shortly thereafter received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, she felt the call of God upon her in the years that followed.
She served in her home church in any capacity where there was a need as she waited before God for the next step of ministry. During these years she searched the Word of God with diligence, recognizing that the Great Teacher of the Church, the Holy Spirit was her teacher, revealing to her the truth line upon line.
Rev. Bomar is a powerful teacher of the Word of God, a teacher by Divine call. She was ordained into the fivefold ministry in 1974 and shortly thereafter organized MBM. She is uniquely gifted in speaking forth the Word in a way that all who hear will receive revelation by the Holy Spirit. She preaches and teaches the things she has learned through the years with her teacher, the Holy Spirit. Her ministry has crossed denominational lines, allowing her to expound the scriptures with clarity and singleness of purpose to many people across the Nation. She communicates the love of God in the delivery of her messages. Saint and sinner alike are responsive to the Word that goes forth as she teaches.
Rev. Bomar attends Christ Worship Center in White House TN a short distance North of Nashville, TN where she is under the pastoral authority of the Senior Pastor Rev. Bruce Allen. www.ChristWorshipCenter.net
A great desire is within Rev. Bomar to see the lost saved and the believer to grasp the truth of their identification with Christ which will allow them live in victory in this present world.
Based in Goodlettsville, TN just outside of Nashville, Rev Bomar continues to minister locally and beyond in churches, Bible schools, retreats seminars and revivals. She is married to Henry Bomar who is retired. Henry is involved in the ministry with her locally and in traveling.
Margaret holds an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Midwest Seminary of Bible Theology in Missouri.
From the beginning, the Vision of MBM has been to impart knowledge of the scriptures to the believer to help them come to maturity in Christ by becoming doers of the Word instead of remaining a careless hearer. To teach the believer their identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection and to be fruitful in every good work.
The gifts and anointing placed in me by the Holy Spirit in the beginning are for the purpose of winning the lost to Christ and for equipping and enabling the believer for the work of ministry
Our goal is to help men and women called to ministry and positions of leadership in the Body of Christ by means of teaching through example as well as precept. To help them release their gifts and anointing as they learn to hear the voice and promptings of the Holy Spirit. Another part of the vision is to establish Bible studies to help the believer to have a firm foundation in their walk of faith. What is learned can be passed on to other faithful ministers and servants as Paul the Apostle instructed Timothy to do.
MBM sponsors three to four Mentoring conferences each year to aid those who are coming along in their walk with God. To do this we must pull from the generation that has walked before us. They can impart their wisdom to the younger in age and in the faith. Those of us who have been there and helped to blaze trails are to speak into their lives. Teaching such things as proper submission to authority in the home, the work place, the government and the church. Instructing them to live a Godly life so that their testimony to those without will not be void of results. Men and women alike will profit from this ministry.
MBM from its inception has desired to promote unity, encouragement, and the love of God among the Body of Christ so that we may be influential in helping sinners find their way to God.
